After an initial call to note your devices, we send simple instructions on how to set up 1 main computer and up to 4 other devices, e.g. phones/tablets. All devices need to be present for the setup. We may use remote tools to help the configuration. Home visits may be available if preferred.
Not yet. We are currently building a dedicated app to install on each of your devices. Initially, we will share a cloud account with you, separate from any you presently have, which ensures we only see your photos, and nothing else you may have tied to your present cloud account(s).
A dedicated Keepsaker curator will review, categorise and file your images. That person will be changed as infrequently as possible, so we get to know you and your people, and enable us to make suggestions to hone your lens skills.
Unless you use ‘burst’ feature on your camera, people take an average of 3000 photos a year. If you take more than 250 photos a month, we’ll let you know and suggest how to reduce surplus. For every extra 500 images we charge £300, which you’ll approve before you’re charged.
Keepsakes are individually tailored ideas that have been inspired by your photos. These include photo albums, collages, framed photography, interpretative designs and portrait paintings.
We agree at the onset of your service agreement when you’d like them, so we can schedule our design team in advance to be ready to work on your images promptly.
Both albums are designed by hand with images are selected by a curator. The print quality is the same, but the Premium Album is a larger, longer, thicker book printed on a premium paper. The specifications are as follows:

|Number of Images||50-80||200-250|

No. While your dedicated curators will come up with suggestions, ordering keepsakes in addition to those in your subscription plan is up to you.
Your subscription can cover either your backlog of photos from the last year, or we can curate going forward from the time you sign up.
At sign up you may elect to make the effective start date of your service any time in the previous 12 months. If you back date the start of your service, any items in the Gold or Platinum packages may take up to three months from the sign-up date to organise and deliver. At present, organising further backlog requires a meeting with a Producer at McKay Williamson, and cannot be done remotely.
Keepsaker is a “look forward” subscription plan. This means that we charge for sorting out your media from the time you subscribe onwards. And to get the best out of this premium service, we need to work with you and your family over at least a year.
On the anniversary of the effective start date, the fee for the same package for the next year will become payable (we’ll email you a reminder before charging you). You may cancel auto-renewal at any time during the year of your subscription.
Extremely. Having worked with royals, sports stars and other celebrities, the Keepsaker Curators have years of experience handling the memories of important families from around the world. We take extreme precautions with your media.
No. There is no need to change the way that you currently store or backup photos (e.g. iPhoto, iCloud, DropBox, OneDrive).
Absolutely not. You memories are safe with us. Keepsaker combines all of your existing media, and new photos as you take them, into an easy-to-search library. We’ll choose the best of a group of similar shots and safely archive the rest until you decide what to do with them.
Not with the Keepsaker service – our designers have complete creative license (making it effortless and streamlined). If you’d like to be involved in the design process, this requires meeting a Producer and the design team, and costs more.
