Robi Walters’ meticulous lotus flowers are made of recycled card, bringing life to the discarded.
Born and raised in South London, Robi's journey as an artist is deeply intertwined with his personal transformation. His art reflects his philosophy that beauty can emerge from the most unexpected places, and his use of upcycled materials symbolises this idea. By reimagining the potential of what others see as waste, Robi highlights the value of sustainability and resourcefulness in both art and life.
Based in London, Robi transforms found, discarded materials (flyers, cards, vinyl LPs) into radiant collages and sculptures built around sacred geometry, meditation and the lotus symbolism of renewal. Walters’ practice is not only visually exuberant, but rooted in themes of transformation, consumption and regeneration.
His work has been championed and collected by Prince William, the Royal Foundation, Sir Paul McCartney, Aston Martin, Idris Elba, and others.
